Undergraduate Advising Center - Graduation Application Procedures

The College of Education requires that students complete their graduation application as a portion of their student teaching application process.

The deadlines to complete student teaching applications are as follows:

Students in majors that do not require student teaching (i.e., Human Services Counseling and Postsecondary Workforce Education) must complete their graduation applications by the posted deadlines. These deadlines are set by the UNLV Graduation Office. The deadline for May graduation is usually in late January. The deadline for August graduation is usually in late May. The deadline for December graduation is usually in late August. See the Graduation Office for exact deadlines. We strongly suggest completing your graduation application several months (or even a full semester) before the above-mentioned deadlines.

To complete your graduation application:
  1. Initiate your graduation application with the Office of the Registrar and Admissions.
  2. Make an appointment to meet with your academic advisor in the COE Undergraduate Advising Center (CEB 226, 895-1537) to complete your graduation application. Following your advising session, the Undergraduate Advising Center will forward your student teaching application to the Field Experiences Office, if applicable.
  3. Your department will call or email you once all signatures are obtained.
