Registration Information - Registration Problems

For information regarding registration, including registration dates, on-line registration, course listings, and fees, visit http://register.unlv.edu/.
If you are having problems with registration, please read the following.

There are several reasons that web registration will not allow a student to register for a particular course:
1. The student does not meet the prerequisite for the course.
2. The student completed the prerequisite(s) for the course(s) at another institution.
3. The student has an approved petition to register for the course(s).
4. The course is full.

If you fall under any of the above explanations, you may have trouble registering for courses. If the course you are having trouble registering for is an Education course (prefixed CED, ECE, EDCT, EDU, EPY, EDSP, EDEL, EDRL, EDSC, PED, or EDWF), visit the COE Undergraduate Advising Center (CEB 226). If you meet the prerequisite and if the course is NOT full, the Undergraduate advising center staff will attempt to manually register you for the course.

If the course is a graduate level course (600 level or above) or a course in another department (i.e., a math or English course), visit the respective department regarding registration issues.
