Eunsook Hong is professor of the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received her undergraduate degree in Korea and had been elementary school teacher for about 9 years. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Technology from the University of Southern California. Her areas of research interest include self-regulation, creativity, giftedness, and homework. She teaches research-method related courses including Research Method, Multiple Regression and Path Analysis, Multivariate Statistics, and Latent Variable Models: Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. Dr. Hong has authored numerous publications in various journals, including Applied Cognitive Psychology, Contemporary Educational Psychology, Creativity Research Journal, Gifted Child Quarterly, International Journal of Psychology, Journal of Educational Psychology, Journal of Educational Research, and Learning and Instruction. Books published include Preventing Talent Loss and Homework: Motivation and Learning Preferences. She has been serving as an editorial board member for journals in education, creativity, and giftedness.
