Joe N. Crank is an associate professor in the school psychology program who joined the UNLV faculty in 1989. Prior to that, he worked as a school psychologist in Iowa and Kansas. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. Dr. Crank is actively involved in the National Association of School Psychologists, including reviewing programs seeking NASP approval. He also serves on the Thomas and Mack Law School Clinic Advisory board.

His work has been published in the Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation, Journal of Reading and Writing Quarterly, and Learning Disabilities: Research and Practice; among others. His current research interests are behavioral and academic interventions for children and adults with disabilities.
