Lori Olafson is an associate professor of teacher education who joined the UNLV faculty in 1999. Her teaching and research interests include teachers' perceptions of school climates, the relationship between beliefs and practices of practicing teachers, alternative perspectives in teacher education, and the construction of subjectivities in adolescents. Dr. Olafson was the 1999 recipient of the AERA's Division (Learning, Instruction) outstanding student-authored research paper award.
