Certificate Programs

The Department offers certificate programs in either Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Early Childhood Special Education. Certificate programs are designed to help practitioners develop advanced skills in a specialty area. Advanced Graduate Certificate in Addictions Studies The Advanced Graduate Certificate in Addictions Studies meets the needs of health professionals including Clinical Mental Health Counselors, Rehabilitation Counselors, School Counselors, Physicians, Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Behavioral Health Therapists by providing graduate addiction education to help them address client needs.
Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling The Advanced Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling is geared for those individuals who have graduated from CACREP accredited or equivalent master's programs, but do not meet the necessary educational requirements for the Nevada licensure for Clinical Professional Counselors (CPC).
Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education - Infancy (Birth to 3 years) The Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn an endorsement in early childhood special education with licensure to teach in a variety of early childhood settings.
Graduate Certificate In Early Childhood Special Education - Preschool (3 to 7 years) The Certificate program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn an endorsement in early childhood special education with licensure to teach in a variety of early childhood settings.

Students in class
