Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology

The Ph.D. in Educational Psychology prepares independent scholars to make significant contributions to knowledge in specialized areas of educational psychology. Students complete a core of research and learning theory courses, a specialization strand, and an emphasis area. Specialization strands within this Ph.D. are available in School Psychology and in Foundations (assessment, program evaluation, research, and learning in school domains). A unique doctoral program with specialization in School Counselor Education is offered in collaboration with counseling faculty in the Department of Educational & Clinical Studies.
