Ed moved to Las Vegas in August 2002 from Burnt Hills, NY where he taught and coached for 33 years. Ed received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Brockport and his Master's Degree in Reading from University Albany. He began working at UNLV in April 2003 as an Admissions and Enrollment Counselor in the Registrar's office. In November of 2007 he joined the College of Education Advising Staff. In 2011 Ed became the interim director of the education advising center and in the spring of 2012 he became the director of the now Education Student Services Center. He enjoys watching football, fishing, exercising, going to the movies, and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Lauren started her journey as an Academic Advisor at UNLV in August 2012. A New York native, Lauren graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2009 where she earned her degree in Public Relations and Health Science, and played field hockey. Upon discovering her love for Higher Education involvement, she continued her studies and graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina in 2012 with a Master's degree in Counselor Education, Student Affairs. Lauren's professional background includes experience in new student and first-year initiatives, campus programming, student conduct, admissions, residence life, career services, advising and supervising student leaders, and academic advising. Lauren is excited and extremely proud to be a part of the College of Education community and looks forward to meeting more students and supporting, encouraging and motivating them while they reach their personal, academic and professional goals.

Monica is originally from Southern California and relocated to Las Vegas in 2007. She joined the UNLV College of Education in May 2007 where she worked as the Office Manager for the Advising Center until becoming an Academic Advisor, in September 2011, and finally the Assistant Director in August 2015. Monica earned her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from UNLV in August 2011 and serves as the Orientation Coordinator for the College of Education. In her free time, Monica enjoys shopping, traveling, working toward her Master in Higher Education degree at UNLV, and balancing her time with her husband and energetic son.

Dan moved to Las Vegas from upstate New York in 1996 and attended CSN part time, he transferred to UNLV in 2010 and graduated in 2014 with a degree in Secondary Education English and a minor in history. Dan took time off to raise a family and decided rather than teach he would like to become involved in higher education. Dan is ecstatic to have come full circle and now be advising students in the same program he went through himself!

Nancy began her career in student affairs in 2008 at the California State University, Fullerton as a peer advisor working with high risk student populations. Since then she has developed extensive experience working in student government and leadership, first year experience programs, and advising centers within the California Community College, California State University and University of California higher education systems. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton in 2008 and her Master's degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach in 2012. Nancy joined the College of Education advising staff in December 2016 and is excited to support the diverse student population at UNLV in achieving academic, personal and professional success.

Vicky was raised in Southern California and grew up in Simi Valley. She eventually relocated to Las Vegas 20 years ago. Vicky came to work for UNLV in 2005 and spent her first year working in Undergraduate Recruitment. She then transferred to the College of Education in 2006. Vicky's hobbies include camping with her husband and family, and traveling whenever she can. She is also a grandmother to four granddaughters, who she loves spending time with.

Ana Franco joins the staff after working as an administrative assistant for the Department of Teaching & Learning for three years. Ana is currently pursuing a dual degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and loves being a UNLV Rebel!

Max is a very proud alum of the UNLV College of Education. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Human Services in 2014 and is now pursuing his Master of Education in School Counseling. Max is also a former student-athlete for UNLV having played football for the Rebels from 2009-2013. During his free time he enjoys playing basketball, watching movies and hanging out with friends.
