A listing of the master's programs offered by the College of Education are provided below. M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education This program is designed to provide a comprehensive contemporary program of teacher preparation and education for early childhood settings (e.g., day care, preschool education, hospitals, community education, early intervention programs, agencies, infant/toddler education and prek-2nd grade).
M.Ed. in English Language Learning This program is designed for individuals who hold a baccalaureate degree in elementary, secondary, or special education and seek to earn a master's degree in English Language Learning, with a focus in either English Language Learning or Bilingual Education.
M.Ed. in School Counseling This program is a 48 semester hour program, prepares professional counselors to meet the academic, career, personal, and social needs of culturally and linguistically diverse K-12 student populations.
M.Ed. in Special Education Emphasis in Autism This program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn a master's degree in special education or early childhood education, with or without licensure.
M.Ed. in Special Education Emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education This program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn a master's degree in special education or early childhood education, with or without licensure.
M.Ed. in Special Education Emphasis in Generalist (K-12) This program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn a master's degree in special education or early childhood education, with or without licensure.
M.Ed. in Special Education Emphasis in Intellectual Disabilities This program is designed to meet the needs of persons who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to earn a master's degree in special education or early childhood education, with or without licensure.
M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling This program is a 60 semester hour program, prepares professional counselors to work in community agencies, educational settings, as well as private practice.

M.S. in Educational Psychology (Traditional or Online) This program is appropriate for students seeking the core knowledge, research tools, and educational experiences necessary to succeed in various educational settings.
M.Ed. in Educational Policy & Leadership This program is designed to develop educational leaders who understand the urban environment and the community in which schools exist.
M.Ed. in Higher Education This program prepares graduates for entry-level leadership positions at universities, community colleges, and proprietary institutions.
Ed.S. in School Psychology The program prepares professional school psychologists and meets endorsement requirements for the State of Nevada.

M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction The master's degree consists of required core courses coupled with courses specifically related to the area of concentration. A culminating experience or thesis concludes the degree and provides evidence of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions gained while in the program.
