Student Organization of Addiction Professionals


The Student Organization of Addiction Professionals (SOAP) is a CSUN-recognized organization dedicated to the support and development of future addictions professionals. Through school and community partnerships, members of SOAP:

  • Coordinate and sponsor community service opportunities to enrich members' relationship with the addiction treatment community;
  • Serve as outreach volunteers to at-risk populations, such as youth and disadvantaged groups; and
  • Participate in events that promote awareness of addiction as a public and mental health concern, and engage in addiction prevention efforts.
