SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE: Scholarship Applications for the Fall 2008 - Spring 2009 Academic Year will be available online until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2008. Please read all the scholarship critera carefully and apply for only those which you are (or will be by Fall 2008) eligible for. Thank you.

Ann Horvath Scholarship Undergraduate elementary education majors enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and maintaining a GPA of 2.75. Must be a Nevada Resident at time of scholarship awarding.

Augusta Leonard Scholarship for undergraduate education majors. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Barbara L. Lochridge Memorial Scholarship for excellence in elementary education. Student must be a junior or senior in an undergraduate elementary education program; enrolled in 12 or more credit hours; and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Must have financial need - as determined by Student financial services office and the FAFSA application.

Charlotte & Jerry Keller Scholarship for undergraduate education majors. Must be a Nevada resident and enrolled in student teaching while maintaining a GPA of 2.75. financial need - to be determined by the Student Financial Services Office and have a current FAFSA on file.

Chester D. Simms Scholarship for undergraduate special education majors with financial need - to be determined by the Student Financial Services Office and have current FAFSA on file. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Dorothy V. Gelhart Memorial Scholarship Undergraduate or graduate special education majors. Must be a woman returning to school for their student teaching semester. Awarded for Fall only. Must be enrolled in student teaching and maintain a GPA of 3.0.

Ethel Winterheimer Scholarship for undergraduate or graduate elementary education majors . Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours while maintaining a GPA of 3.0.

Eva Bortman Scholarship for undergraduate elementary education majors. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Must be a Nevada resident.

Evelyn Semling Endowment For sophomores, juniors and seniors in undergraduate programs in elementary education. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and maintain a 2.75 GPA.

Judy Taylor Trent Scholarship for undergraduate or graduate education majors. Must be a Nevada resident. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours while maintaining a GPA of 2.75. Must have financial need - to be determined by the Student Financial Services Office and have a current FAFSA on file.

Selma Bartlett Math Teacher Scholarship for undergraduate math education majors. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours and maintain a 2.75 GPA. Must have financial need - to be determined by the Student Financial Services Office with a current FAFSA on file.

Selma Bartlett Student Teaching Scholarship for undergraduates or graduates seeking initial teaching license in the College of Education. Must be enrolled in Student Teaching.

Silver State Schools Student Teaching Scholarship for undergraduate education majors or graduates seeking initial teaching license in the College of Education. Students must be a Nevada resident with a 2.75 or higher GPA and enrolled in student teaching for Fall 07 or Spring 08.
